Cousins

We finally got some pictures of the 3 kids together where none of them are crying or trying to squirm their way out of the picture.

Ken and Gina's new house is BEAUTIFUL. We did pretty good getting their stuff unpacked. We lost our #1 babysitter, due to a family emergency my mom flew out on Wednesday to be with her family. There were a lot of times that someone was packing around 2 babies so someone else's hands were empty to get something done. Matthew thought it was like Christmas getting all his toys back again. The kids were great for so much activity and business. There wasn't a moment of quiet time in the house with 2 babies and a 2 year old though. Usually one of the babies would cry, make the other one cry, then they'd be fine, then one would cry again, it was a vicious cycle.
We had a blast, it was hard to leave, but they will be here in 2 weeks for a family reunion so we will get to see them again pretty soon.

Kynlie and Lincoln

It was fun having Kynlie and Lincoln together again. It's really funny seeing them though because Lincoln is quite a bit bigger than Kynlie, but Kynlie's movements are definetly a lot older than Lincoln's. She thought his chubby fingers were better for sucking on and pulled them into her mouth!
Here, let me sock you in the head
They were kissing each other. They would both open their mouths wide to try and suck on the other ones face.
I love you cousin!

Hyalite Waterfall

Kynlie and I spent last week in Bozeman. We left on Friday with my mom & dad and went to help my sister and brother-in-law move into their house. Ken's parents got there right after we did on Friday with his nieces and nephew. They had nothing in their house because the movers weren't coming until Monday so we went on a little hike to a beautiful waterfall.

Auntie Gina was getting Kynlie to give her soem big smiles.

My dad, Ken, Matthew, Darius, LaTasha and Siane climbed up a little farther than the rest of us wanted to.

Kynlie and I at the waterfall

I forgot to put on Kynlie's shades before the hike but had to put them on when we were waiting in the parking lot while the bigger kids played in the stream. She's not a big fan of them, but I think she needs to get used to them for when we are boating.

Kynlie was watching me pack for our week visiting my sister and her family in Bozeman.
Notice the cute "Cat in the Hat" outfit. I bought it for her when she was still in the hospital, it was on clearance and too cute to pass up. The tag said "3 months" which I assumed at the time was 3-6 months so I took it home and hung it up with her other 3-6 month clothes and didn't pull it out again until today because she is getting a little long for her 0-3 month outfits. I could have cried when I went to put it on her today and it barely fit her. I guess she is going to have to wear it every day until it doesn't fit anymore to make up for all the time she could've been wearing my favorite outfit:(
Playing with mom

She has been sucking on her bottom lip a lot lately, which really does not help with her drooling. The front of her shirts are always soaked.
She has been doing great eating. She has had sweet potatoes, carrots, peas and prunes and she loves all of them so far. Today she started squealing at me until I would get another bite in her mouth.
She has started squealing for her talking now too. It's really cute, she wakes me up in the morning with her sweet squeals and when she is laying on the floor, she just babbles to all her toys.

Smiling while playing on the floor
I guess this is a post with only pictures of her in her Dr. Seuss clothes.

I am a little upset with myself because Kynlie went to her first wedding and I forgot to take my camera to get any pictures. She looked adorable, as always and stayed up way too late. I don't know if it was the loud music or all the people, but she seems to get overstimulated when we go out and she cries the most heartbreaking cry and is inconsolable. She did it at the wedding dance and then tonight when we went to my aunt and uncle's 25th wedding anniversary party.

8 Months

Today is Kynlie's 8 month birthday. She has really been changing these past few weeks. She still only rolls over from front to back, she stands great in her exersaucer, drools constantly, LOVES bathtime, only sleeps during the day if she is being held and has been getting up at 2 am to eat. She has been doing great eating and loves sweet potatoes and carrots. She has started reaching and grabbing for toys now and anything she gets a hold of goes straight to her mouth. She loves splashing around in the tub
Has a great sad face and has perfected the pouty lip

Puts anything and everything she gets ahold of in her mouth.
After she took a bath at grandma and grandpa O'Donnell's but mom forgot to pack her jammies

She has started sucking her thumb instead of her fingers.

We have a busy couple of weeks coming up, Neil's cousin is getting married this weekend, we dont have anything planned for next week, but next Friday, we are planning on going to Bozeman for a week to help my sister and brother-in-law move into their new house. We haven't seen them since they left May 1 so it'll be great to see them again. I'm also looking forward to seeing Kynlie and Lincoln together as he now outweighs her by at least 2 lbs but she's 6 months older!

How did I forget this?

Somehow, I forgot to put my favorite picture from camping on the last blog post. This was the cutest thing I had seen in a long time. My 2 favorite people.

Memorial Day Camping

Kynlie went on her first camping trip Memorial Day weekend. We got up on Friday and went to the Yellowstone River by Terry, MT. Our trip started out very interesting when, about halfway there, some of the fiberglass blew off our camper. We are not sure why it happened, but it was pretty sickening to see. Neil and his brother tarped the camper up and it worked just great.

Sterling loves camping, but he was ready for bed. There were right around 10 dogs camping and they all get along amazingly well, but they wear eachother out. When we first get there, Sterling runs around like crazy, then by the second day, he won't leave Neil's or my side because he doesn't want anyone to go in the camper without him.
I got to cuddle with both my babies. It was tough with Kynlie because it was pretty cold and windy and she still can't breathe in the wind, but she hates being covered and bundled up. It was also hard keeping her away from the campfire/cigarette/cigar smoke. I felt like I was walking in circles around the campfire. Thankfully we had our camper so when she had enough, we could go in there and get out of the elements. She did great though for still being so little and for the weather not being the best.

Kynlie has started really liking her rice cereal. A lot of it has to do with us feeding her earlier so we aren't trying it when she is crabby at night. She has started really babbling, it sounds like she is really talking, in her own little language. Even when she is screaming at me, I have to laugh because it sounds like she is cussing me out in Chinese.

We had to get a picture of her with her daddy in her "I love daddy" bib because earlier in the day, she had a diaper blowout in her "I love daddy" onesie and it was unsaveable. She was making it up to her daddy for wrecking the onesie. She also got her first camp bath because of the blowout, but I didn't get any pictures of it.

She is a big finger sucker. Not a thumb sucker unless it goes in with 3 or 4 other fingers!
We had a great weekend, but I think camping will be a little more enjoyable when the weather is a lot nicer. I felt like if I wasn't trying to keep her out of the wind, I was trying to keep her out of the sun. I just can't win!
