Pumpkin Patch

Bright and early- or not quite bright yet- Monday morning my dad, the kids and myself took off for Bismarck for Kynlie's 5 year appointment, and for Locklyn and Max to get their eyes checked.
Just outside of Wibaux a grouse came out of nowhere and shattered my windshield, smack dab in the center of the window. Made for some interesting driving in town!
Kynlie's appointment with Dr Ocejo went great, she weighs 43 lbs and is 45" tall. That is the 70% for weight and +95% for height. Quite amazing considering where she started almost 5 years ago. We went and saw all her nurses which is always so  fun and she actually was sweet and talked to them!
Locklyn and Max did excellent at the eye doctor. Both their eyes are perfect and Dr S said he got the best exam he has ever done on a two year old in his career! He said he doesn't expect to get that much cooperation out of a seven year old!
We skipped shopping and made a stop at Papa's Pumpkin Patch for the kids to run around. It is such a wonderful place for the kids. They picked out a pumpkin and we got ready to leave just as the rain started coming down and a bus full of after school program kids showed up.
