6 months

This post is two days late, but, I had already done a post on the 28th before I realized that the 28th was my sweet Locklyn's half birthday. Sooo, I'll just do it a couple days late!

Kynlie and Locklyn with papa-great
At 6 months, Locklyn can sit up by herself for extended periods of time, rolls EVERYWHERE, very fastly, is eating rice, oatmeal, veggies and just starting fruits. She loves her sippie cup, is an excellent nurser except when she decides to bite with her two cute bottom teeth;) She is sleeping in her crib through the night most nights, except when her teeth are bothering her.

She weighs at least 19 lbs and is probably close to 28" long (we go for her 6 month checkup next week). She is in size 4 diapers and some 6-9 and some 12 month clothes. She's pretty high on the growth charts!

Locklyn has a smile that lights up a room, and all you have to do is look at her to get that cute smile. She is the happiest, easiest, most laid back baby I have ever been around and we are so lucky to have her in our family.

Kynlie continues to be a great big sister and all she has to do is walk by to get Locklyn to smile or giggle, Locklyn absolutely LOVES her! Kynlie is a little bossy to Locklyn already, me being the middle child, already feel sorry for Lockyn because I have been in her shoes, although my sister and I get along great now! (Love you sis)

Shadehill

We went to Shadehill, SD two weekends ago to do some camping and boating with some friends. The weather was perfect and we all had a blast! Kynlie loved her Nemo lifejacket and is still asking for it, she thought riding on he tube was the best thing ever and especially loved the rocks at the campsite!
It must be something about the motion of the water that makes babies sleep because if we were on the water, Locklyn was out! She did wake up when we were headed to shore onetime so Neil decided that she should ride the tube too! She just sat on her daddy's lap like she's been tubing for years, no big deal!
I am excited for the rest of our camping trips we have planned for the summer, as much as our girls love being outside, camping is right up their alley!

Uh Oh

I came downstairs to this the other day
Do I need to be concerned that my almost 3 year old cares about Jessica Simpson at home with her baby?

She flipped through all the pages of "Us" magazine like she's been doing it for years

2 going on 20, watch out world!

A little catch up post

Things have been crazy around our place this last month. We have been replacing flooring in our new camper, had a garage sale, made a trip to Billings for a day, taking care of mom and dad's place while they were in Ireland for two weeks and trying to keep up on the house!
Kynlie's speech continues to improve daily and she has the funniest, sweetest, stubbornest personality I have ever seen. We are working on potty training, which is going pretty well and still trying to get her to sleep in her big bed every night. She asks to sleep in the crib and won't stay in her big bed some times. We are also very excited, she got asked to be a flower girl in a wedding in July, she should be pretty darn cute!
Locklyn is rolling over constantly, setting by herself for a few minutes at a time, sleeping through the night most nights, except for when her pesky teeth are bothering her, which she has two of by the way! She's wearing size 3 and 4 diapers and 6-9 and some 12 month clothes.
We have a lot of plans already for the summer so I am hoping to get better about posting about what we have done! We have a few camping trips planned, a few weddings to go to and are hoping to go boating a couple of times.
