And being a dare devil
We had a great Easter, Neil's parents took the girls down to the cabin on Friday and we went down Saturday afternoon. We went to church on Sunday and just hung out and ate great food Easter day.
We died Easter Eggs

April was a crazy month. We went to Bismarck for March for Babies the first weekend. Neil had to make a last minute trip to Billings the Monday after so the girls and I rode along, spent the night and came back on Tuesday.

Kynlie's first dance recital
The next Thursday, my mom and I met my sister in Salt Lake City for a LifeVantage convention. LifeVantage is an all natural Nrf2 stimulator that we started distributing. The convention was a great motivator and very educational. We came home on Sunday. The next Tuesday, I was in the ER with chest pains. I had a lot of heart attack symptoms and a blood test came back positive for blood clots. Tons of blood work, and EEG, a chest x-ray, CAT scan and 4 hours later, I was diagnosed with inflamed cartilage between my ribs and sternum!
Last Thursday, we loaded up and started driving to Kansas to visit my sister, bro-in-law and their boys. Our trip started out fine, we got pulled over for speeding, then ran into some bad roads. I was driving and had slowed down to about 65 when we hit a patch of black ice and slid all over the road and ended up in the ditch. We just put the pickup in 4 wheel drive and got out, but it was slow going from there. We got to KS Friday evening and went to a free Berenstein Bears play. Saturday we went into the Kansas City Zoo and ate some Chinese for supper. Sunday, Neil and Ken went to NASCAR races in KC. Monday we headed back home after lunch, only to drive on bad roads again. We got home Tuesday afternoon. It was a lot of driving, on bad roads, for a couple of full days of hanging out, but it was fun and great to see the boys.

March for Babies

Friday afternoon, Kynlie, Locklyn, my mom and I loaded up and went to Bismarck to participate in March for Babies. We walked on Sanford Children's Team (formerly MedCenter One.)
It is always so fun because we get to see so many of Kynlie's AMAZING nurses and of course the one and only Dr. Ocejo!
After the walk we ate lunch provided by Subway, had some cake in honor of March of Dimes' 75th birthday and awards were handed out.
I was very surprised and proud when I heard Kynlie's name called for the award for Top Walker for raising the most money. Sanford Children's team
We raised $1266, just a little short of our $1500 goal but are still very grateful for everyone's generosity in donating to a cause so very close to our hearts.
We are so thankful for March of Dimes because without their lifesaving research, Kynlie might not be here with us today. We are also so grateful for Sanford Healthcare's amazing Birthcenter and NICU team for all the great care and support we received from them.
Here's to walking so that one day ALL babies will be born healthy
