Yesterday was Kynlie's 4 months birthday. I can't believe that it has been 4 months already. She had been home for 2 weeks yesterday too.
She weighs 5 lb 8.5 oz
Kynlie loves having things to stare at, bright colors and lights are her favorite. She loves cuddling, laying on our chest, I think it's probably from all the Kangaroo Care we did when she was in the NICU. She's not very happy if you put her down or in her swing when she's awake, she'd much rather be held. She loves her swing if she is sleeping though and can actually swing in it without puking up everything that she has ate. She seems to be awake a little more every day too. She was pretty much awake all morning today.
She loves bath time, but squirms around so much she's very hard to hold on to.
As you can see by her shirt, she loves her daddy. They do a lot of cuddling when he gets home from work. He bottle feeds her her night time meds and pretty much holds her from when he gets out of the shower until we go to bed.
Her cousin Matthew has been spending a couple of days with us while his mom is gone and she has been sharing her pickup and horsetrailer with him. As you can see, it has a big load of his cars in it.
He isn't too sure of Baby Kynlie yet, he points to her swing and says "Put Baby Tinley back in dere!" He thinks she interferes with our car driving time. Here she is staring at herself in the mirror on her playmat. She's doing a lot better eating, not throwing up as much and eating a lot more. We have been using different nipples on her bottles an that seems to help her throwing up. We can't hear her gulp every time she swallows, so she isn't getting as much air with every swallow. I have started going 3 1/2 hours between the night feedings so she's more hungry and will nurse and it seems to be working.
